Contributors to the Virtual Archives

The Virtual Archives’ initial website, "Westchester County and the Civil War," was made possible in part with a grant from the New York State Archives Local Government Records Management Improvement Fund, as well as a generous gift from Westchester resident Dolly Maass. The second offering, the "Historic American Engineering Record of the Bronx River Parkway Reservation" is the online version of the report compiled by the National Park Service in conjunction with the county’s Dept. of Parks, Recreation and Conservation and Dept. of Information Technology. “Historical Treasures of Westchester,” the third presentation, displays those documents in the Westchester County Archives and the Westchester County Historical Society collections that have special value for research. This section of the site was supported in part by a grant from Fuji Photo Films, USA.
