The Book of Record Kept in Harrison's Precinct, 1774-1839
This book is a record of the minutes of all the town meetings in Harrison
from 1774 to 1839. They record the election of persons who served the town
in an official capacity, and the community laws those officials passed. Several
of the laws regulated the grazing of animals on the Harrison common. The minutes
also include matters relating to roads and highways, fences, and those who
could not support themselves.
