The 1892 New York State Census identifies all Scarsdale residents at the time. It lists their name, gender, age, color, occupation, as well as their country of origin. This record is particularly important because the New York State Census of 1890 was destroyed by the Mar. 29, 1911 Albany Capitol Building Fire.
