The Oceana Group, which became Oceana Publications, is a legal publisher specializing in the fields of international law and transnational commercial law. It was founded in Dobbs Ferry in 1948 by Philip R. Cohen, and its publications are intended primarily for the library market. It was acquired by Oxford University Press in 2005, but it continues to operate in Dobbs Ferry as a division of that prestigious university press.
