John P. Davies, a Hastings cartographer who drew a number of fine traditional maps of the village, created this fanciful map of Westchester County in 1932. Davies’ neighbors on Edgars Lane in Hastings included Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood, and the well-known photographer Lewis Hine.
