Captain Jonathan Horton's Company Payroll,
Feb. - April, 1776
This Revolutionary War payroll is titled: “an account of
subsistence money due to officers, non commissions and privates
men of Capt. Jonathan Horton’s Company of Continental forces ….” This
company was part of Rizema Regiment of Westchester County, stationed
in New York City. An accounting for each man in the company is
given in weeks and days of service and the total owed in pounds,
shillings and pence.
